You will be responsible for contract documents (drawings and specifications), construction phase plans, MEP system interrelationships, construction sequencing, project schedules, operation and maintenance.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Assist in resolving issues that arise among MEP vendors.
    We will examine design issues related to the MEP and propose alternatives.
    Assists in receiving and verifying MEP-related submittals.
    Record and reflect MEP changes and completion information on site drawings.
    Assist in confirming the scope of work, developing budgets, and justifying MEP changes.
    Assist with installation of MEP work.
    Leads, supervises and manages the activities of MEP contractors.
    Coordinates and manages MEP-related materials, systems, and construction drawings.
    and consultants, supervisory engineers, and inspectors.
    Ensure that the MEP vendor properly maintains and submits quality documents and records.
    Ensure that the MEP vendor complies with safety regulations.
    Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
    MEP and infrastructure maintenance and management.
    and equipment lists, and develops and implements investment and maintenance plans.
    Conduct a field survey of the infrastructure.
    MEP Cluster Services in Japan.
    Collaborate with coordinators and other members of the center on technical issues.
    We will also provide technical support to other sites such as Yorii, Musashi, Tochigi, Misato, Izumozaki, and Takasaki Plant as needed.
  • Requirements
    -Engineering university degree such as mechanical, electrical, facilities and environment
    -More than 5 years project experience with general contractor or MEP specialist (subcontractor)
    -Comprehension of drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams
    -Knowledge of construction procedures, construction management and problem solving
    -PC skills (design and document preparation)
    -Excellent communication and organizational skills
    -English study Willingness (to obtain 700 TOEIC score within 3 years)
    ・Ability to read English documents and respond to emails
    ・Active participation in company activities
    ・Efficiency and KPI awareness and ability to incorporate improvement activities into daily work
