An innovative global automotive supplier headquartered in Europe, this company designs, produces, and delivers cutting‑edge components, integrated systems, modules, and services for automakers and the aftermarket. With over 100,000 employees across 30+ countries and nearly 200 plants worldwide, the organization is backed by extensive R&D capabilities through 20 research centers and 39 development centers. Their portfolio includes advanced smart sensors, comfort and safety features, automated parking solutions, and next‑generation ADAS technologies.
This role serves as the Segment Leader for Indirect Procurement, overseeing all indirect purchasing activities across multiple sites in Kanagawa—including headquarters, manufacturing plants, and R&D centers. Unlike direct procurement, which directly influences product costing, indirect procurement plays a critical role in optimizing company‑wide operations related to staffing, IT, equipment, events, and other essential support functions. You will act as a strategic partner, guiding stakeholders toward the best QCD (Quality / Cost / Delivery) decisions and shaping the sourcing landscape through competitive strategy, negotiation, and governance.
This position spans multiple locations in Kanagawa Prefecture, including headquarters, factories, and R&D, and is a segment leader in charge of the indirect purchasing area. Although it is not directly linked to product costs like direct purchasing, it plays an extremely important role in optimizing areas essential to company operations, such as dispatch, human resources, IT, equipment, and event management. This position has a strong consulting color, leading optimal decision-making from the perspective of QCD (quality, cost, and delivery) and promoting strategic purchasing activities such as building a competitive environment, negotiations, and governance.
