Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Own short- and long-term product engineering activities to support profitable market growth and customer adoption.
    Engage directly with Japanese OEM customers, collaborating with engineering and product planning teams to understand requirements and drive successful integration.
    Build strong market awareness for AR HUD solutions and maintain competitive analysis to support positioning and sales strategies.
    Present demonstrations, technology roadmaps, and solution overviews at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
    Work with OEMs and suppliers to ensure successful integration of HUD technology into vehicle platforms.
    Conduct optical performance validation-evaluating image clarity, brightness, contrast, ghosting, and distortion using appropriate measurement tools-and ensure alignment with relevant industry standards.
    Set up, configure, and debug demonstration systems including software features, optical components, and environmental assessments.
    Tailor demonstrations to customer-specific use cases and provide technical pre-sales support, addressing questions and solution feasibility.
    Troubleshoot product demonstrations, collect logs, confirm vehicle specifications, support packaging studies, and assist with planning and on-road evaluations.
    Support requirements gathering, specification documentation, customer presentations, user manuals, and product planning materials.
    Work with UX and HMI teams to develop HUD content such as navigation and driver-assistance visual displays.
    Train OEM and supplier engineers and service teams on system usage, configuration, calibration, diagnostics, and maintenance.
    Develop technical documentation, integration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and supporting materials for demo and deployment readiness.
    Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling demonstration strategies and support RFQ/RFI/RFC processes.
    Convert complex product details into clear, customer-friendly messaging and materials.
    Coordinate with external creative partners to develop enablement materials and execution plans.
    Drive clarity, issue resolution, and alignment across multi-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
    Serve as a lead interface between regional activities and global product teams to ensure consistent direction and execution.
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, ICT, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
    10-15 years of experience in engineering and/or product management, ideally within the automotive or digital cockpit domain.
    Strong technical knowledge of AR, optical systems, display technologies, and in-vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
    Experience working closely with OEMs and suppliers throughout the product development lifecycle.
    Proven ability to support RFQ/RFI/RFC processes from concept alignment to development execution.
    Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and logically to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
    Excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Preferred
    Experience delivering demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer-facing product evaluations.
    Practical experience with optical validation tools and familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., SAE and ISO HUD performance standards).
