This German automotive parts manufacturer is looking for a sales person to work in the motorcycle business.
In the future, you may be in charge of sales of not only motorcycle JOEM but also commercial vehicles and agricultural/construction machinery JOEM.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    General sales activities for motorcycle JOEM
    New business order taking activities
    Relationship building with customers
    Strategy planning and internal coordination
    Quote submission (including scrutiny of internally calculated costs)
    Research of industry trends/competition trends
    Response to existing business
    Sales plan development
    Variance analysis between plans and actual results
    Contract price maintenance with customers (reflecting exchange rate fluctuations on contract unit prices, etc.)
    Strategy development for price increase/reduction - internal coordination and negotiation with customers
    Cooperation with other business units
    Work as sales manager
    In the future, may be in charge of sales of commercial vehicles and agricultural/construction machinery JOEMs as well as motorcycle JOEMs
  • Requirements
    At least 5 years of experience in sales to JOEM or in a department similar to sales (e.g., a department that compiles internal costs and explains them to sales).
    Business English skills
  • Preferred
    Experience as a sales representative for motorcycle JOEM
    Knowledge of automotive electronic/electrical component business
    Sales experience with Japanese Tier 1 supplier
    Experience working with JOEM
    Motorcycle license held
