This position is responsible for schedule management and promotion across design, manufacturing, assembly, and operation in rocket development.
The role is not merely to coordinate schedules, but to grasp, coordinate, and promote the overall picture of the project in cooperation with each system (including ground-based systems).

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Manage the entire schedule from design, manufacturing, assembly, and operation by grasping the progress of each system (structure, propulsion, avionics, ground equipment, etc.)
    ・Negotiate and coordinate with design managers and line chart managers to keep the schedule realistic and on target
    ・Identify dependencies and risks among processes, and flexibly make decisions to move plans forward or backward, and propose schedule revisions ・Visualize and report on the progress of major project milestones Flexible response to schedule revisions and schedule postponements
    ・Visualization and reporting of progress toward major project milestones
    ・Evaluation of alternatives and coordination among departments in the event of delays or risks
  • Requirements
    Experience in progress and schedule management in manufacturing and development projects (whether as an engineer, PMO, technical assistant, etc.)
    ・Experience in promoting work while negotiating and coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders
    ・Experience in promoting the above while utilizing Office and Google Workspace
    ・Experience in Japanese Smooth communication in Japanese (standard: business level or above)
  • Preferred
    Experience in progress management in complex product development projects such as aerospace, automotive, and heavy industry
    - Experience in using project management tools such as Asana, Notion, and Backlog
    - Skills in interacting and coordinating with engineers and field personnel on a practical level
