Technical Project Leader (System Engineering)

You will lead the organization and coordination of customers' technical requirements, and in collaboration with local teams in Japan and global development bases in Asia and Europe, you will lead projects from order receipt to mass production (SOP) in terms of technology.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■Customer interface and stakeholder management (main area of responsibility)
    ・Acting
    as a technical point of contact for Japanese OEM customers (JOEM) in all phases of the project, from order acquisition to SOP ・Building and maintaining
    relationships of trust with customer engineers, project leads, and technical decision-makers ・Technical discussions, issue management, Lead regular customer meetings, including progress reviews,
    facilitate early clarification of technical requirements, specification changes, and scope adjustments, prevent
    uncertainty and delays, align customer expectations with internal development teams, and function as
    a two-way communication hub to manage customer escalation. Proactively align internal resources to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction

    of local technical teams: Leading, supervising
    , assigning technical tasks and managing progress of cross-functional project teams (software, hardware, mechanics, systems) in Japan to ensure

    a team environment that can demonstrate high performance, supporting the development and guidance of young engineers, and taking on the role of local technology leaders.

    ■Regional and global collaborations
    : Promote
    cross-regional alignment and resource optimization as a bridge between the Japan team and the development bases in Asia (Singapore, China, India, ASEAN, etc.), and collaborate
    with global platform teams, portfolio management, and engineering centers in Europe. - Responsible for integrating regional deliverables across HPC products to facilitate cross-border problem solving and technology alignment

    ■Project planning and execution

  • Requirements
    Bachelor's or Master's degree
    in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field At least 8 years of working experience in automotive product development (project experience with customer engagement required)

    as a technical leader for Japanese OEMs Native Japanese level, English Business level
