Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Lead cross-functional teams across electrical, mechanical, validation, procurement, and quality functions to deliver customer hardware projects.
    Manage project execution from RFQ phase through production launch, including ownership of BOM, CAPEX, resource planning, and profitability targets.
    Define project scope, priorities, schedules, and deliverables within a matrix organization.
    Collaborate with sourcing teams to select strategic suppliers and ensure components, services, and equipment meet cost, timing, and quality targets.
    Identify and mitigate project risks, manage cross-functional dependencies, and handle changes and escalations.
    Drive technical development activities including design, analysis, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
    Develop and maintain project communication plans, regularly reporting status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
    Track key performance, quality, and cost metrics, and lead initiatives for cost optimization and process improvement.
    Work closely with Customer Program Management and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Requirements
    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    12+ years of experience leading automotive development projects.
    Previous experience leading project or engineering teams.
    Experience managing electro-mechanical system development, including thermal considerations.
    Knowledge of PLM methodologies and project management processes.
  • Preferred
    Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
    Experience developing infotainment or ADAS platforms.
    Exposure to hardware, RF, and thermal simulations in automotive applications.
    Strong intercultural communication skills and experience working in global teams.
    PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
