This role is responsible for leading cross-functional projects related to the development and launch of micro-miniaturized connectors for fast-paced consumer and commercial markets. The Project Manager will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful new product development and on-time product launch.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Lead new product development projects from concept through production launch.
    Manage overall project execution including:
    - Scope and change management
    - Development schedules
    - Production readiness
    - Budget control
    - Quality requirements
    Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product management.
    Monitor project progress, identify issues, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
    Provide regular project updates and reports to management and senior leadership.
    Collaborate with Product Management to support business planning and product strategy.
    Advocate for customer requirements throughout the development process.
  • Requirements
    3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Engineer in product development.
    Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
    Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a cross-functional environment.
    Strong communication and presentation skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
    Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
    Japanese: Native level.
    English: Business level.
  • Preferred
    Experience managing projects for electronic products or electronic components.
    Experience in the mobile electronics industry.
    Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
    Basic knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma.
    Understanding of PBM® (Principle-Based Management).
