The Account Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and strengthening customer relationships within the Japanese commercial vehicle market. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this position will be responsible for managing strategic customer accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve ambitious business objectives.

- Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Business Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and support expansion into emerging market segments.
- Establish and manage sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships
- Act as the primary commercial contact for key OEM and strategic customer accounts.
- Foster long-term partnerships through proactive engagement, effective communication, and value-driven solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions to secure sustainable business growth.
Collaborate Across Functions
- Work closely with Product Business Units, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to address customer requirements and support business objectives.
Leverage Data and Business Insights
- Monitor sales performance through KPI analysis and reporting.
- Utilize CRM and ERP systems to manage customer activities, forecasting, and business planning.
- Support budgeting processes and provide management with accurate sales performance updates and market intelligence.
Lead Through Influence
- Serve as a trusted advisor internally and externally, demonstrating strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused culture that supports continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- Requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the automotive industry.
- Experience working for an automotive Tier-1 supplier.
- Proven track record in budget planning and achievement of sales targets.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with strategic customers.
- Prior sales team leadership or management experience preferred.
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong understanding of sales KPI development and performance analysis.
- Experience with budget management and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills.
- English communication skills equivalent to TOEIC 500+ (700+ preferred).
