As an Automotive Parts Product Buyer, you will be responsible for working closely with our customers and suppliers to incorporate the next generation of technology into their products. Your major role is to make your company's products and overall business competitive by working on sustainable cost optimization.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ▪ Promote sustainable supply solutions that meet cost, quality and delivery requirements for assigned parts
    ▪ Negotiate with suppliers based in Europe and other markets to ensure benchmark cost, quality and delivery.
    ▪ Explore new suppliers and new technologies to challenge the competitiveness of existing suppliers
    ▪ Collaborate with other departments to implement cost reduction ideas
    ▪ Achieve target costs and timelines for new product projects with clear cost targets and detailed project timelines

    ▪ Drive Drive your commodities towards a sustainable supply solution that fulfils the requirements of Cost, Quality and Delivery.

  • Requirements
    University degree in either Business, Economics, or Engineering (automotive preferred)
    - Experience as a Buyer and knowledge of the purchasing process or experience working for a consultancy
    - Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice (especially Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook) Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice (especially Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook)
    ・Language skills (business level in both English and Japanese)

    ・University degree in either Business, Economics, or Engineering (preferably automotive)
