In this role you will be responsible for managing post-mass production purchasing activities related to automotive lighting components. The role focuses primarily on cost management and supplier negotiations for components already in mass production. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage pricing negotiations, mold maintenance costs, and supplier value improvement initiatives. The role also requires coordination with global purchasing leaders and internal teams to ensure cost competitiveness and supply stability.

- Responsibilities
- ■ Cost Management & Supplier Negotiation・
Support annual price negotiations with suppliers for mass-production components
・Manage cost discussions related to tooling, maintenance, renewal, and repair activities
・Review supplier pricing and identify opportunities for cost improvement
・Support value analysis and cost optimization activities with suppliers
■ Supplier & Internal Coordination
・Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery, and improvement topics
・Work closely with global purchasing leaders and internal stakeholders
・Coordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams when supplier or cost-related issues arise
・Support stable supplier relationships and long-term collaboration
■ Trade / Purchasing Administration・Prepare and manage purchasing-related documents and communication
・Support email communication with overseas stakeholders,
including ASEAN-related contacts
・Assist with internal purchasing processes, quotation handling, and supplier follow-up
・Help maintain accurate records and support smooth purchasing operations
■Business Travel ・Visit a nearby production site approximately once per month
・Visit suppliers approximately two to three times per month when needed

- Requirements
- ・Experience in purchasing, procurement, or trade administration
・Product knowledge is not required
・Junior candidates are acceptable if they have trade administration experience and a strong willingness to learn purchasing
・Comfortable using English for email communication
・Business-level Japanese
・Strong communication skills and basic business manners

- ・Experience in a manufacturing company
・Valid driver's license
・Chinese language ability
・Experience communicating with overseas stakeholders
・Experience supporting supplier negotiations, quotations, or pricing discussions
・Eager to learn and grow in purchasing
・Comfortable communicating with both domestic and overseas stakeholders
・Organized and accurate with documentation and follow-up
・Able to work under pressure and support supplier negotiations
・Flexible, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks
