Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    1- Business Development

    [Direct sales]
    ・Sell solutions in the industrial air sector to maximize
    customer productivity improvement ・Provide
    optimal total solutions, including full-potential proposals, including Airchitect simulations ・Analyze industry segments in the area under our responsibility to expand areas of strength and develop
    new areas ・To develop new customers, Carry out
    the following activities: - Conduct
    systematic cold calling for 4 hours per month - Acquire
    new customers through regular visits to prospects - Visit prospects from affiliates, dormant customers, and various industry lists

    [Indirect sales (agency sales)]
    ・Develop distributors in the area to expand
    market share and brand presence ・Conduct monthly meetings with each distributor to review quotations and decide on
    sales promotion measures ・Provide
    training on products and Airchitect ・Accompany distributors on customer visits to help them improve their sales activities and sales skills
    ・Work with area sales managers to develop new distributor candidates

    Key Account Management
    - Promote the introduction and expansion of industrial air products through building relationships with key customers.

    2- Achieving
    sales targets and annual sales targets (order amount and billing amount)

    3- Utilize customer management
    and CRM tools (C4C) to manage
    customer visits, lead management, business opportunity status (orders/lost/pending), quotations, and order status, create customer visit plans and record
    visits in C4C, and promote sales activities using demo centers, Airchect simulations, customer training, and exhibitions with distributors.

    4- Improve
    customer satisfaction, improve
    Industrial Air's NPS (Net Promoter Score), work with the Compressor Technology Service Department to improve
    customer satisfaction, respond quickly to customers, and proactively solve problems

    5- Monthly Reporting
    Area Monthly meetings with sales managers to report
    on the following - C4C data (planned visits, leads, deal status, order status)
    - Customer and prospect information
    - Customer needs and challenges
    - Competitor trends
    - Potential new products and services

    6- Collaborate
    with colleagues and related departments (CTS, Kawasaki Compressor Logistics Center, Finance Department, etc.) to facilitate sales activities.
  • Requirements
    ・Experience as a corporate sales and sales engineer in manufacturing machinery (estimated 3 years or more)
    ・Required for a regular

    automobile license [Skills and knowledge]
    ・PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    ・Basic knowledge
    of mechanical engineering or electrical engineering ・Understanding of industrial applications and industrial segments
