Born in Hokkaido, Japan. While majoring in economics at university, he also played soccer as a special student and has experience playing in Brazil.

After graduating, he consistently worked in sales, including used car sales and To-B sales in the logistics industry. Based on his multifaceted experience, he joined Turnpoint Consulting.
Specializing in the semiconductor sectors, he collaborates with numerous leading companies in the industry. These include one of Japan’s top 10 electronics trading companies and the Japanese branch of a leading global semiconductor manufacturer. He can offer introductions to a variety of positions, ranging from engineering and sales to human resources.
In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and working out.

Arisa Kawabata

Consultant

Born in Tokyo, with study abroad experience in Canada.

After majoring in English Education and American British Literature at university, she began her career as an English teacher following her study abroad experience. Then she spent four and a half years working as a study abroad advisor, providing support and consulting services for students pursuing higher education overseas such as MBA. Leveraging the communication skills and customer care abilities cultivated throughout her career, she joined Turnpoint Consulting. She now supports recruitment for semiconductor companies.
An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys activities such as hiking and traveling on her days off. She has a passion for taking on new challenges.

Austin Weiss

Associate Consultant

Born in America. After graduating from University, Austin worked in a logistic provider for approximately 7 years prior to moving to Japan, working from back office billing and various office work, to talent acquisition specialist and then full-stack developer. He moved to Japan and started his career as a teacher in ES and JHS for 3.5 years before he moved to Turnpoint Consulting. Carrying on his profound knowledge and experience in various industry, he now works as a consultant and is in charge of the semiconductor sector.

In his mean time, he enjoys riding a motorcycle, watching car-racing, as well as anything related to automobile.
