Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Understanding model based development of vehicle control algorithms for customer functions such as but not limited to ACC or AEB.
    - Understand the application, tuning and testing processes of the functions in simulations and in the vehicle
    - Follow software development process as defined in ISO26262 and A-SPICE
    - Understand the documentation of algorithms and creation of function specifications
    - Gather and clarify requirements from OEM prior to release.
    - Attend joint tests and track issues and take them to completion
    - Maintain efficient communication and provide close cooperation with customer (OEM)
    - Visiting/Working at customer facility for meetings or joint work (>4 days per week)
    - Attend or organize weekly review meetings with the internal teams, reporting to management
    - Be the main voice of customer, understand customer requirements, schedules, processes, methodologies
    - Be the main voice of at the customer site
  • Requirements
    - M.Eng or equivalent, with at least 6 to 7 years of software development experience or requirements gathering, product development
    - Knowledge of model-based development with MATLAB Simulink and TargetLink
    - Experience in embedded coding and build process
    - ADAS compoments development experience
    - Efficient communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Preferred
    - Knowledge of Autosar
    - Driving license Japan
