The Program Manager is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of complex projects, ensuring achievement of all quality, profitability, timing, and risk management objectives. This role oversees the core project team, maintains alignment with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures seamless coordination between development, customer teams, and manufacturing sites. The Program Manager maintains a strong focus on cash management, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout program execution. - Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Execution
- Manage assigned programs from concept through closure.
- Lead the cross-functional core team using a collaborative approach to achieve project targets.
- Establish and manage program budgets, including development, tooling, and related expenses, with a strong focus on cashflow optimization.
- Monitor development costs and billable hours.
- Build and maintain detailed program schedules, anticipate deviations, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee product and process design activities to meet target cost, profitability, and cash-in/cash-out expectations.
- Ensure that technical and process decisions align with defined quality objectives and mandatory requirements (e.g., FMEA, quality assessments).
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Coordinate communication across the project team, manufacturing plants, and customer teams.
- Serve as the primary program interface for all customer-related topics.
- Present program status and outcomes in internal and external reviews, including gate reviews.
- Support sales and business development activities when required.
Production & Post-Launch Support
- Monitor program performance after start of production, addressing any issues impacting productivity, cost, or process reliability.
Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety, Environment)
- Promote adherence to all Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards within the program team.
- Ensure team members receive appropriate training on relevant IMS requirements.
- Maintain accountability for IMS process management within the program scope.

- Requirements
- - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive,
- Experience working within a matrix organization on cross-functional projects.
Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
