At the world's No. 1 equipment manufacturer, you will be responsible for labor management, training, training planning, dispute resolution, and close collaboration with the U.S. headquarters for the 120-130 employees who will be employed in Japan.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - HR Strategy & Culture: Collaborate with the manager to shape HR and business unit strategies, ensuring alignment with changing needs and fostering the right culture.
    - Business Performance Optimization: Diagnose challenges and implement interventions to enhance performance and achieve strategic goals at the leadership level.
    - Talent Assessment & Development: Conduct organizational and talent assessments, develop workforce capability, and build talent pipelines ( selection, assessment, development, succession).
    - Change Management & Engagement: Design and execute change management, communication, and engagement strategies within the business unit.
    - Leadership Development: Partner with, coach, and develop managers while supporting executive leadership growth (coaching, counseling, career development, performance management). development, performance management).
    - HR Strategy Execution: Work with Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Operations to implement initiatives, balancing enterprise and local needs.
    - Data & Analytics: Utilize tools like Workforce Dashboard and Workday for analytics to support business strategy.
    - Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M,A&D): Support HR due diligence and integration, partnering with the core M,A&D team and Support HR due diligence and integration, partnering with the core M,A&D team and regional HR.
    - Enterprise & Regional Initiatives: Contribute to at least one HR initiative at the enterprise or regional level annually.
  • Requirements
    - Experience in labor management, training program planning and execution, and dispute resolution for approximately 100-120 employees. .
    - Experience in an HR function
    - Business-level English proficiency (required for conversational business interactions).

    - Experience working in a foreign-affiliated company and interacting with a global headquarters
