As HR Partner (HRBP) for around 250 employees, you will oversee labor management, training, and dispute resolution while maintaining close coordination with the US headquarters. The role requires strong English skills to negotiate global policies within Japan’s legal and cultural context, as well as the ability to build strong employee relationships and independently manage processes to ensure an optimal work environment.

- Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Culture
Shape HR strategies and priorities to align with BU/Function goals and evolving needs.
Support leadership in building the appropriate culture to achieve strategic objectives.
Organization & Talent
Conduct organizational and talent assessments.
Develop and implement talent strategies, including selection, assessment, development, and succession planning.
Change Management & Engagement
Design and implement change management, communication, and engagement strategies.
Drive initiatives that enhance workforce capability and performance.
Leadership & Employee Development
Partner with, coach, and develop managers; provide guidance on performance management, career development, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
Begin to support executive leadership development.
Collaboration & HR Delivery
Partner with COEs and HR Operations to deliver initiatives and HR strategies.
Balance enterprise-wide and business unit needs with local requirements.
Data & Analytics
Use tools and systems (e.g., Workforce Dashboard, Workday) to perform analytics supporting business strategy.
M&A Support
Participate in M&A due diligence and integrations from an HR perspective.
Partner with the core M&A team and regional HR to integrate acquisitions.
Enterprise Contribution
Contribute to at least one enterprise- or region-wide HR initiative annually.

- - Strong HR expertise with experience in talent management, change management, and employee relations
- Business acumen to interpret challenges and propose best practices
- Leadership ability to manage projects or teams of moderate complexity
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with innovative thinking
- Proven impact on achieving business and operational goals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in complex situations
