As Logistics & Import Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, including stock planning, predominately EU based international supplier orders, logistics coordination with forwarder, domestic inventory coordination, and 3PL This is a fully remote role ideal for a junior to mid-level logistics professional with strong independence and self-motivation. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Import Operations

    - Coordinate international shipments including documentation, booking, customs-related processes, and vendor communication.

    - Work closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

    Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

    - Monitor and manage inventory, calculate and adjust appropriate stock.

    - Support inbound/outbound activity, product receiving, and accuracy of stock records in coordination with the 3PL warehouse in Narashino, Chiba.

    - Implement small-scale improvements to the overall logistic process that will match the growing business.

    Domestic Fulfillment

    - Oversee order processing and coordinate last-mile delivery arrangements with the 3PL

    - Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays in coordination with relevant partners.

    - Support the preparation and sending out of invoices within Japan.

    Internal Collaboration

    - Report to and collaborate with the company president to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

    - Maintain operational documentation, shipping records, and inventory logs.

    - Support external accounting firm with documents and information necessary for accounting works.
  • Requirements

    - Over 5 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management.

    - Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent preferred).
    - Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote role.
    - Experience working with 3PLs is a plus.
