In Japan, in addition to sales and service of the above products made at our plants around the world, we have a plant in Kyoto, Japan, where we develop and produce hydraulic equipment for construction and agricultural machinery manufacturers and public infrastructure such as ports and dams in Japan and abroad.
As a Danish subsidiary, we have a clear growth policy and contribute to society with professional and global corporate level solutions.
We are looking for a sales representative to increase our market share in the hydraulic business in Japan. The sales representative must be able to identify growth opportunities and execute market development activities. They must be a team player and maintain transparency and a proactive approach to the hydraulics business in the Japanese market.
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- - Expand direct sales to customers (mainly construction and agricultural equipment) and sales to distributors.
- Improve profitability - improve prices of low-margin products.
- Prepare sales and order forecasts for customer and distributor sales.
- Shortening of payment periods and reduction of uncollectibles.
- Verification of customer requirement specifications for new and existing products.
- Gather information about customers, competitors, and other markets.
- Communication and reporting with overseas BUs (Business units).

- Requirements
- - At least 3 years of experience in sales to OEM or distributors in the automotive industry OR construction machinery OR agricultural machinery.
- 4 University Graduate or above.
- Japanese: Business Level, English: Business Level
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) available.
- Communication skills, presentation skills, ability to achieve goals, positive attitude.
- Ability to understand customer needs, ability to make proposals and plan.

- - Experience with SAP-based sales management ERP is desirable.
- Knowledge of hydraulic products is desirable.
