SoC Research and Development for Display Management

There is an urgent need to accelerate electrification, provide new value, increase the number of models to which new technologies can be applied, standardize development work to cope with the increase in variations for worldwide deployment, and deal with evolution later, in order to become carbon neutral.

We are looking for colleagues who can work together to develop SoCs that improve the AI performance of central ECUs and optimize power consumption in order to build optimal electronic control systems that realize free and enjoyable mobility and evolution of user convenience with high competitiveness and quality, and to develop technologies that enable continuous and timely market introduction.

As of April 2025, one year has passed since the SoC development organization was established, bringing together personnel with a variety of expertise.

We are looking for professional and management personnel to acquire further expertise in SoC development and to improve organizational management skills.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Specifically,
    * Depending on your experience, we will entrust you with organizational management and project leading in the following tasks:
    Planning and development of custom SoCs with world-class AI performance and power saving for the realization of Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs).

    Planning of next generation SoC based on future technology (semiconductor/AI/software) research, user needs prediction and hypothesis
    ●Preparation of SoC requirement specifications based on performance targets as a car (specification design and architecture development (hardware/software))
    ●AI evaluation and SoC optimization specification study, actual design and Verification (functional/logical design and verification (hardware/software), physical design (hardware))
    ●Functional evaluation of completed SoC/construction of processes (actual device evaluation and familiarization (hardware/software), construction of various development environments (hardware/software))

    *The company may order reassignment to other duties as determined by the company based on expertise, aptitude, company needs, etc.

    The job is to develop custom SoCs that can run AI in a power-efficient manner, which is necessary to realize SDV that delivers the latest services to customers in the fastest possible time.
    We understand the company's AI algorithms and conduct future research and forecasts while specifying, actually designing, and verifying the optimal SoC hardware.
    One of the attractive points of this position is that you will learn not only the latest semiconductors but also various technologies such as semiconductor development environment (EDA), embedded image/AI algorithms, AI software development environment, etc. while working on the realization of optimal SoC.
    In addition, the application of the SoC we have designed and developed to actual vehicles is directly related to the customer's experience and joy, which is both a great responsibility and a rewarding experience.
