As a motivated Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for proposing advanced, high-efficiency industrial machinery to manufacturers in the automotive and pipe industries across Japan. This role includes attending trade shows, visiting customers directly, and handling everything from equipment proposals to spare parts, consumables, and maintenance service coordination. You will also support ongoing client relationships while developing new accounts, with occasional travel across Asia and to Europe for training and exhibitions. Working closely with a senior manager, you will grow into an independent sales role and, eventually, into a leadership position within the company’s Japanese operations.

- Responsibilities
- - Propose high-performance, labor- and energy-efficient machinery to manufacturers (e.g., automotive parts, pipe producers)
- Visit new and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored technical solutions
- Attend and support trade shows and exhibitions, both domestically and internationally
- Handle quotations, orders, and deliveries for consumables and spare parts
- Coordinate and support maintenance services in collaboration with the service team
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through follow-ups and system expansion proposals
- Learn the product's technical features through training with engineers and technical staff
- Gradually take on more responsibility, with a goal of advancing to a leadership or management position within the Japanese office

- Requirements
- - Experience in B2B technical or industrial sales, preferably in manufacturing, machinery, or automation-related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with both Japanese and international clients
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and machinery; mechanical or engineering knowledge is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically for customer visits and internationally for exhibitions or training (e.g., Germany, Asia)
- Japanese fluency (business level or higher); English required for overseas communication and documentation
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently
- Interest in long-term career development, including potential for future management responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
