Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    1) HR strategy formulation and system improvement
    ・HR strategy formulation and HR system improvement aligned with business goal achievement
    ・Diagnosis of all HR areas and presentation of improvement directions toward goal achievement based on understanding of external environment, medium- to long-term vision, business goals, and overall and divisional KPIs
    ・Improvement of HR system areas such as human resource acquisition and development, job classifications and promotions, performance Promote improvements in each area of the HR system, including talent acquisition and development, job classification and promotion, performance management, evaluation and compensation, retention and release, job structure and systems, and labor relations

    2) Organizational design and personnel planning
    ・Design optimal organizational structure
    ・Consider business processes, functional specialization, collaboration structure, decision-making structure, reduction of duplication and excessive layers, etc. (optimal organizational concept based on online business model, synergy effects between passenger and commercial businesses, consideration of SSC functions, etc.)
    ・Program appropriate personnel and personnel costs
    Calculation and management of appropriate mid- to long-term headcount and personnel costs to achieve BEP (e.g., 10 years)

    3) Organizational Culture and Infrastructure Building
    ・Build unique organizational culture and internalize core values and behaviors
    ・Concretize and promote unique culture, values, and behaviors to achieve business goals
    ・Collaborate and create synergy in overall HR, including HR strategy, systems, organization, and education, based on holistic and integrated perspective
    Improvement of overall business infrastructure, including administration, benefits, financial management, workplace, etc., to reform the way people work

    4) Legal Risk Management and Response
    ・Establish compliance response structure and risk management methods
    ・Establish areas of legal compliance as a global company and specify scenarios for sensing and responding to problems in advance

  • Requirements
    More than 15 years of experience in all areas of HR, including organizational culture and work style reform, HR strategy development, organizational and human resource management, HR system planning and improvement, and core value penetration
    ・Experience working overseas and collaborating with expatriates to understand global HR practices/standards
    ・Experience in management support areas, including administration, finance, IT, and legal affairs Direct/indirect experience in management support areas such as administration, finance, IT, legal, etc.
    ・Experience leading more than 20~30 people (leadership experience)
    ・Business level English required for communication with headquarters and other overseas subsidiaries (business level)
  • Preferred
    Experience in a business or department other than HR
    ・Transformational leadership that can encourage new challenges/innovations without being bound by conventional practices/legacy
    ・Korean language skills to communicate with Korean employees in the Japan office.
