As an Area Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and growing revenue across a broad portfolio of maritime equipment and solutions. This includes identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, supporting product development, and coordinating cross-selling efforts. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as shipyards, design institutes, and vessel owners, while also contributing to marketing and intelligence initiatives. - Responsibilities
- - Contribute to the development and preparation of the annual sales budget
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the order fulfillment process
- Provide support to the tendering process and assist the Contract Manager as needed
- Share sales leads and opportunities with other teams across the organization
- Plan, coordinate, and execute targeted marketing initiatives
- Promote and cross-sell products from other business divisions to enhance customer value
- Manage key accounts, including strategic planning and execution of account-specific initiatives
- Participate in ongoing product training to stay current with technical developments
- Support market research and competitive intelligence efforts to inform sales strategy

- Requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering with a degree in mechanics, electrical or electronics engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant business / product experience
- Understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems
- Fluent Japanese, with business level English skills
