In this role you will act as a project manager or assistant project manager for business development opportunities and coordination of satellite development. Your work will play a vital role in the success of space technology advancement done in coordination with JAXA by overseeing the scheduling, budgeting, and proposal of future plans to develop new space technologies and business opportunities in Japan. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    -Over see the cost, budgeting, and schedule for development projects and drive forward the project by quickly responding to challenges.
    -Formulate and propose new business plans in both the private sector and with government agencies.
    -Manage a team sometimes as large as 100 members, effectively communicating across departments and forecasting progress.
  • Requirements
    -Strong market research ability.
    -Understanding of proposal based sales or new business considerations.
    -Understanding of budgeting and cost management.
    -Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

    For manager level members -Experience in business development or project

    For Assistant Manager level members -
    Experience and skills related to Experience and skills related to large-scale project management in any field, but especially though related to new technologies and research projects.
  • Preferred
    -Strong people management experience.
    -Professional experience in the space industry with a knowledge of the market.
    -Experience in project management with more than 50 members.
